after finding out that pasta has a lower glycemic index (ie. slower release of carbohydrates), i've had a sudden affinity towards it and luckily, the desire to cook it too!

and added more tomatoes and half a carrot to add bulk.
parmesan makes the snowy mountains on this one.
extremely delish.

this took me 5-10 mins to whip up.

wish i knew the tricks i know this year last year.
i've been playing a little more with watercolor. it's getting addictive because it's such a calming activity. i've been doodling lots - playing with color, shading, etc. my first project is audrey in the park... it's a rendition of one of my favorite photos of the beautiful audrey hepburn holding some balloons. with this one, i used various shades of blue and black, setting a nearly monochromatic tone to the painting.
the legs always give me trouble.
